GFAC September 17, 2020 - Educational Meeting

The Greater Fredericksburg Area Chapter (GFAC) of AACN understands the educational needs of the nurses in our community and the opportunity to safely meet to talk about the issues we are facing at the bedside.

Join us on September 17th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss proning and improving outcomes for our patients.  All are welcome to be a part of our business meeting beforehand as well.  

The Fick Auditorium gives us the opportunity to practice social distancing and this educational meeting gives us a chance to share what nurses are seeing in our community with the ability to discuss ways of improving patient care.

GFAC also supports Micah Respite House in downtown Fredericksburg with meals every 5th Tuesday.  Since last spring, our chapter has been having food delivered to the residents at the respite house.  If you would like to help with feeding the residents, please bring $5 to the meeting.  It's a great way to help those in need in our community.

Please wear your mask and enjoy discussing with your peers the benefits of proning our patients who are having difficulty keeping oxygenated.
